ABOUT
Mattias Pollak is a cinematographer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but work has made him travel globally. He is a member of the Norwegian Society of Cinematographers, FNF and has more than ten years of experience as a DoP. Ranging from feature films, documentaries, short films, art and dance films. Projects to specially mention last years is the international coproduction "Live a little", the debut feature of Fanny Ovesen, showing in theatres across Sweden in spring 2025, as well as the feature film "Explosions in the heart" by director Yen. Mattias has a special love for drama and human interaction, always trying to transfer the mood and feeling of a subject to the screen with a humanistic eye. He like to step into the unknown, to be part of the project from the very start, or do things he har never done before. Stretching himself to try to understand how a story should be told in pictures.
